The breakfast featured local treats that I enjoyed.
Unfortunately, my shower experience was frustrating due to the small size, which made me feel confined and uncomfortable. I also noticed that the pool was not as clean as I had hoped, and there were insects floating on the surface, which was quite off-putting. While I appreciated the hotel's location, my overall experience was marred by these disappointments, making it hard to fully relax during my stay.

Porfyris Hotel stands out with its welcoming atmosphere and genuine Greek hospitality. The owners are incredibly involved and truly care about their guests. I arrived within a 10-minute walk from the port, making it super convenient. The location in Mandraki is perfect for strolling through charming streets and discovering local tavernas. My room was clean, matching the photos exactly, and I loved the lovely view from my balcony. Breakfast served on the terrace was delightful, featuring a variety of local treats. The swimming pool, though a bit dated, provided a refreshing dip after long days exploring. there were a few drawbacks. The bathroom had a tight shower area that could be a squeeze, especially with the curtain wrapping around you. I found the saltwater pool not as pristine as I’d hoped, as I noticed a few insects floating about. Despite a cozy experience, the lack of gluten-free breakfast options was disappointing, especially after I had confirmed this in advance. Porfyris Hotel offers a wonderful slice of Greek island life but could improve on certain amenities.

Had a delightful stay! The pool area felt like a glamorous time machine, and the room had a splendid view. Plus, the air conditioning worked like a dream, just what you need in summer!
The shower curtain thought it was my new best friend, following me everywhere! the fridge was noisier than my neighbor's dog on a full moon.

Recommend it for couples seeking relaxation
The breakfast buffet was simply delicious, filled with local flavors that reminded me of the good life. And that moment when I swam in the pool, it was like taking a refreshing dip of nostalgia, despite it being slightly dated, it still had charm.
It wasn't inexpensive, yet given the experience, I still found it acceptable.

I stayed in a Twin Room with Sea View for 4 nights. The room was really clean and had a nice balcony with a lovely view. The air conditioning worked well, which was great for the warm days. But the bathroom felt a bit cramped, and I could see it being an issue for longer stays. it was comfy and a decent size for two people.
